Hearthstone’s Transfer Student card easily stands out from its peers thanks to having different effects when played on different game boards. As players know, the card game’s expansions have introduced quite a few of them over the years.
That gives it quite a bit of range, however, the Hearthstone Transfer Student effects are only shown when you’re already in a match. In a game that emphasizes planning, at least to some degree, this can easily backfire, making players avoid what’s otherwise a pretty cool concept for a card.
Hearthstone Transfer Student Effects
Thankfully, Reddit user deevee12 has put together a full list of Hearthstone Transfer Student effects that fully detail what the cute Vulpera is capable of doing on each of the game’s boards:
- Orgrimmar - Battlecry: Deal 2 damage.
- Stranglethorn - Stealth, Poisonous
- Stormwind - Divine Shield
- Pandaria - Battlecry: Give a friendly minion +1/+2.
- Naxxramas - Deathrattle: Add a random Deathrattle minion to your hand.
- Goblins vs Gnomes - Battlecry and Deathrattle: Add a Spare Part card to your hand.
- Blackrock - At the end of your turn, reduce the Cost of a random card in your hand by (2).
- Grand Tournament - Inspire: Draw a card.
- LoE (Excavation) - Battlecry: Add a random weapon to your hand.
- LoE (Museum) - Battlecry: Discover a new Basic Hero Power.
- Old Gods - Battlecry: Spend all your Mana. Summon a random minion of that Cost.
- Karazhan - Battlecry: Add a Karazhan Portal spell to your hand.
- Mean Streets - Battlecry: Give a random minion in your hand +2/+2.
- Un'Goro - Battlecry: Adapt.
- Frozen Throne - Deathrattle: Add a random Death Knight card to your hand.
- Kobolds - Battlecry: Recruit a minion that costs (2) or less.
- Witchwood - Echo, Rush
- Boomsday - Taunt. Battlecry: If you have 10 Mana Crystals, gain +5/+5.
- Rastakhan - Rush, Overkill: Draw a card.
- Rise of Shadows - Battlecry: Add a Lackey to your hand.
- Uldum (Feet) - Reborn
- Uldum (Windmill) - Battlecry: Add an Uldum Plague spell to your hand.
- Dragons - Battlecry: Discover a Dragon.
- Outland - Dormant for 2 turns. When this awakens, deal 3 damage to two random enemy minions.
- Scholomance - Battlecry: Add a Dual Class card to your hand.
Hearthstone is set to receive a new expansion titled Scholomance Academy in early August, the Transfer Student card potentially being a first taste of what’s to come.
