Hollow Knight: Silksong Patch Notes and Roadmap of Updates for 2025 - 2026
Team Cherry has rolled out the first post-release update—version 1.0.28470— which primarily targets bugs and subtle balance tweaks for the early game. The update is currently available through the public-beta branch on both Steam and GOG, with a full release expected around mid-week, unless unforeseen issues arise.
Key Fixes & Adjustments:
-
Resolved instances where players could remain cloakless after the Slab escape sequence, and addressed issues in late-game content including the “Infestation Operation” wish, and the “Beast in the Bells” wish when summoned at the Bilewater Bellway.
-
Fixed issues such as getting stuck while floating after down-bouncing on specific projectiles, inaccessible courier deliveries during Act 3, and crafting binds failing in memory sequences.
-
Tweaked gameplay mechanics: removed the float override input (down + jump) following Faydown Cloak unlock; softened early-game boss difficulty for Moorwing and Sister Splinter; lowered Sandcarver damage; enlarged the pea-pod collider; reduced mid-game Bellway and Bell Bench prices; and boosted rosary drops from relics, psalm cylinders, and courier deliveries.
