Are you starting as a Trooper in Arrakis and need a decent weapon for Dune Awakening?
The Trooper class is one of the more versatile and fun classes in Dune: Awakening. Early on, you’ll rely on knives and maula pistols—but there’s a unique, powerful, and surprisingly cheap burst-fire rifle hidden in the southwest of the Hagga Basin.
The rifle, known as Aren’s Vengeance, can be found at Broken Stone Station in the southwest. It’s a potent weapon that works great no matter your class. Trooper, Sword Master, or the subtle skills of the Bene Gesserit. This rifle is great to open up an attack.
The only downside is having to travel to a wreck for some parts, and you’ll need to unlock the Fabricator in the story before you can craft this weapon.
Where to find the schematic for Aren’s Vengeance
The schematics for this rifle are located in a hostile scavenger camp at Broken Stone Station, in the southwest valley. The camp is well-populated, and you might encounter at least one shielded enemy, so come prepared for a tough fight.
After clearing the scavengers, head to the building on the northwest side of the camp. Go up the stairs, enter, and through the doorway on the right, you’ll find a large chest. Inside, there’s a good stash of Solari, plus two essential weapon parts: the schematics and some Spice-Infused Copper Dust.
If you don’t find enough Spice-Infused Copper Dust, don’t worry, you can come back in 10–20 minutes once the enemies and loot have respawned.
How to make Copper Ingots
Copper ingots are refined at a 1:1 ratio using a refinery. Copper is an extremely common ore found in the southern regions of Arrakis, usually appearing as sandstone chunks with vibrant blue veins. It can be mined using a Cutteray.
Where to find mechanical parts
Mechanical Parts are a bit trickier to get. They’re found in the wreck of Alcyon in the northern part of the basin. The wreck itself isn’t particularly dangerous, but getting there can be. Sandworms often roam this stretch, and it’s a long run across open desert. We recommend bringing a bike… or running really, really fast.
Once (or if) you make it there, clear out the bandits and head inside. Many of the chests contain Mechanical Parts—though some are hidden behind damaged doors, you’ll need to cut your way through. With a bit of searching, you should find everything you need in one trip. If not, just like the camp, wait outside a while for the loot to respawn.

How to craft Aren’s Vengeance
Once you have everything, return to your shelter, open your inventory, and select the Kaleff’s Drinker schematic. Use the option at the bottom right to unlock the crafting recipe. Once unlocked, you’ll find it under the ‘Combat’ category in your fabricator.
This weapon is exceptionally versatile, regardless of class; it can even do decent work against shielded enemies. Ammo is also cheap—a must-have for the Trooper.
