How do you get a worm tooth in Dune: Awakening? I’m not sure how the fremen got one of the sandworms chompers, but it probably wasn’t the way we need to. You can obtain this scarce crafting item, a key material for crafting the Crysknife in Dune Awakening, by somehow parting it from a sandworm. That gigantic worm that swallows Ornithopters and Harvesters whole? Yeah, that one.
Surprisingly, the only way to get the Worm Tooth is by getting eaten by one of Arrakis’ legendary sandworms.
Learn how to obtain the Worm Tooth in Dune Awakening
Before becoming a sandworm’s snack, make sure to store your gear at your shelter and set a respawn beacon. If you get eaten, you’ll lose everything you were carrying, including vehicles, and there’s no getting them back. Please double-check that you’ve dropped off your inventory and any equipped items.
Now it’s as simple as going out in the open desert and making as much noise as you can to get the worm’s attention. Run around one area and jump until you attract the sand worm. A Sandworm warning will warn you if it’s about to attack.
You will awaken to be schooled on forgetting sandworms exist on Arrakis and that your inventory is permanently gone, but once you respawn, you will have your very own worm tooth.
