When Is Dune: Awakening coming out on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S? Dune: Awakening proposes an alternative version of the popular story in which Paul Atreides was never born, Lady Jessica obeyed the Bene Gesserit and gave birth to a girl, and Duke Leto Atreides is still alive. Dune: Awakening PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Release Date
Although Dune: Awakening has been in development for both consoles, Funcom took its time giving us a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release date, initially skipping the platforms when announcing the game’s May 2025 PC launch.
But just over a year on from that PC release, Funcom has revealed Dune: Awakening will finally be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S this Autumn.

It’s not coming empty-handed either, as Funcom revealed it will launch with a full single-player mode.
“But this release is so much more than just bringing the game to consoles,” said Funcom CEO Rui Casais for the announcement of Dune: Awakening on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. “To Funcom, it’s a major milestone, the result of over a year of work that culminates in the release of a new and improved Dune: Awakening. The best version yet of Dune: Awakening, on PC and console.”
