Sony has officially revealed the PlayStation 5 Pro, but what games will take advantage of its improved GPU, advanced Ray Tracing, and AI-driven upscaling? We have made a guide to list all the games upgraded by the PS5 Pro.
The PlayStation 5 Pro will be launched on the 7th of November priced at $700 / £700 / €800. It will include a DualSense wireless controller, and a 2TB SSD, but will be missing the disc drive as it must be purchased separately at £99.99.
Before we delve into the list of games, let’s display the three key features outlined by PlayStation on the PS Blog. These features highlight the main improvements from the PS5, which are reflected in the games featured on this page.
-
Upgraded GPU: With PS5 Pro, we are upgrading to a GPU that has 67% more Compute Units than the current PS5 console and 28% faster memory. Overall, this enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay, making the experience much smoother.
-
Advanced Ray Tracing: We’ve added even more powerful ray tracing that provides more dynamic reflection and refraction of light. This allows the rays to be cast at double, and at times triple, the speeds of the current PS5 console.
-
AI-Driven Upscaling: We’re also introducing PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, an AI-driven upscaling that uses a machine learning-based technology to provide super sharp image clarity by adding an extraordinary amount of detail.
PS5 Pro will also launch with the latest wireless technology, Wi-Fi 7, with VRR and 8K gaming supported.
What games are supported with PS5 Pro Enhancements?
The PlayStation 5 Pro will use a new feature called Game Boost, which can be applied to more than 8,500 backward-compatible PS4 games playable on PS5 Pro. The following games listed below will take full advantage of the console’s capabilities rather than just using Game Boost.
