Night Call Release Date
Set in Paris, Night Call puts players in the shoes of a taxi driver tangled in a serial murder case. As you’re the last person seen with the killer’s latest victim, the police is quick to enlist your aid in finding what happened. You’re in no position to refuse, either.
Thus, you take on passengers, as you normally would, except you also have to do your best at finding out more about the case. Night Call is a narratively-driven title, featuring over 70 passengers, each with their own story to tell. Your main goal will be not only to draw information out but also to piece it together in order to help with the capture of the serial killer.
The title tasks you with juggling your two responsibilities –that of an investigator and that of a taxi driver– to the best of your abilities. Not only do you need to scope out the right passengers to pick up, but you need to extract information and clues before they reach their destination. Moreso, each of Night Call’s playthroughs will shift roles around. As the game’s Steam page puts it, “a guilty suspect in one playthrough may be completely innocent in the next.”.
