Nioh 3 is out now, and players, especially on PC, are wondering about the best settings and performance tips to have a smooth experience with the demanding action-RPG. Nioh 3 Best PC Graphical Settings
Even though the initial setup on PC does a decent job of choosing well-performing graphical settings for your hardware, Nioh 3 packs so many menus and submenus for visual options that you’ll want to explore through them all to make sure you’re not missing anything important.
The settings below target stable 1080p/60 FPS performance on the Recommended specs (which you can find listed below), but we’re including alternative options for builds above those specs too:

Does Nioh 3 Have DLSS 4 and Ray Tracing?
Nioh 3 uses DLSS 4 with the Multi Frame Generation option as an extra. However, it doesn’t have any ray tracing features, instead relying on traditional illumination, shadows, AO, and reflections.
There’s always the possibility of Koei Tecmo updating the game on PC (and maybe even consoles) with ray tracing at a later date, but such graphical features are completely absent right now.
Nioh 3 Best Control Settings
Though you can customise the key bindings and tweak gameplay options that affect actions and key presses to better suit your needs, we highly recommend playing Nioh 3 with a controller and using the Type D layout so it better resembles other souls-likes’ controls:
