Nioh 3 takes Koei Tecmo’s action-RPG series to new heights, pitting us against increasingly brutal opponents and tasking us with mastering a rich arsenal of deadly weaponry. Whether you’ve been looking forward to it for a while or find yourself on the fence, you likely want ot know if the third entry in the series is releasing on Xbox or PC Game Pass.
Since Dark Souls’ influence began reshaping the gaming landscape, seeing more and more titles embrace difficult encounters, having Nioh 3 available on Xbox or PC Game Pass would allow us to test the waters before committing to a full purchase.
Nioh 3 Xbox and PC Game Pass Release
Unfortunately, Nioh 3 is not available on either Xbox or PC Game Pass at launch. In the case of the former, the reason is fairly straightforward – there is no Xbox version of the third entry in Koei Tecmo’s acclaimed dark samurai action RPG series.
- Nioh 3 Xbox and PC Game Pass status: Not available at launch
Nioh 3 did get a PC version, however, it is not currently available on PC Game Pass. Its publisher hasn’t publicly revealed plans to bring it to Microsoft’s subscription service thus far, so we might be in for a longer wait before that happens.
This, of course, leaves a traditional purchase as the only way to experience Nioh 3’s brutal battles, which, as we note in our review, are still pretty darn good.
That is what we know so far about whether or not Nioh 3 is going to be released on Xbox or PC Game Pass. For more on the game, check out our article covering its length.
