Path of Exile 2 The Game Awards Twitch drops are set to arrive during the big ceremony on December 11, giving all the new and veteran players extra cosmetics to show off during and after the action-RPG’s early access period.
Grinding Gear Games shared the news and details well ahead of the show, but if you want a quick rundown of what’s coming with these drops and how you can grab them, scroll down below. This won’t take long.
Path of Exile 2 - The Game Awards Twitch Drops: What’s Included?
The short teaser above shows off the two exclusive cosmetic items players can obtain during the main Game Awards show on December 11. Don’t want to bother with a short video? It’s all right here:
- Druids of Maji Portal Effect (also coming to PoE 1 at a later date)
- Battle-hardened Warbear Shapeshift Effect (only for PoE 2)
Path of Exile 2 - The Game Awards Twitch Drops: How to Obtain Them
The first thing to know about obtaining Path of Exile 2’s Game Awards Twitch drops is that you’ll need to tune in during the live show via Twitch (and through the official TGA channel and partners), not before or after, and any other streaming platforms or regular channels won’t do the trick.
The Game Awards’ (expected) start and end times are the following:
- Start Time: December 11th 4:00 PM PST (Dec 12, 2025 1:00 AM (GMT+1) in your local time)
- End Time: December 11th 8:30 PM PST (Dec 12, 2025 5:30 AM (GMT+1) in your local time)
Tuning in after connecting your Twitch and Path of Exile accounts will start a timer. After 30 minutes of accumulated watch time across partnered channels (we recommend just sticking to the main official one just to be sure), you’ll get the Druids of Maji Portal Effect. After that’s done, only make sure to redeem the reward via your Twitch Inventory (it’s important not to miss this step).
Obtaining the Battle-hardened Warbear Shapeshift Effect requires users to subscribe to any channel streaming in the Game Awards category on Twitch during the event. The official page notes that Prime Subs are excluded, which means you’ll have to put down real money to grab this one, making it more of a premium cosmetic.
