During last year’s Halloween Event, Phasmophobia had players searching for pumpkin stickers, illuminating Jack-O-Lanterns, gathering candy, and even capturing ghostly images, all while tackling the Nightmare difficulty level. As we edge closer to the height of the spooky season, anticipation grows regarding what Phasmophobia might bring to this year’s Halloween festivities.
For certain, this year’s challenge promises a unique twist, while still delivering spine-tingling fun! Dive into all the details about the 2023 Phasmophobia Halloween Event right here.
Phasmophobia Halloween Event Challenges
This year’s Halloween event in Phasmophobia takes place on the Maple Lodge Campsite map, where players will be challenged to create a potion using a cauldron. Brewing the potion requires you to first hunt down recipe cards scattered over different locations on the map. You will need to find the following items; Screaming Skull, Eye of Bear (x2), Jar of Mind, Toe of Frog, Death’s Rot (X3), Love’s Blossom, Bowl of Grins, and Sack of Bears (x3).
Then, once you’ve found these, you’ll need to reroute back to the campsite to brew the ghostly concoction. To make things seem more eerie, the campsite and lobby will be updated with loads of spooky decorations throughout the event.
Outside of the main event, players can also complete a wide range of Daily and Weekly tasks to earn rewards. These might cycle into different challenges when the event is live. As of now, they are as follows:
Daily tasks:
- Discover ghost type
- Reach zero sanity
- Survive with only starter items and more!
Weekly tasks:
- Earn Perfect Investigation bonuses in Nightmare of harder
- Hear Paranormal sounds with a parabolic microphone
- Take 3-star photos
- Find a Pumpkin on each map
