Publisher DevilishGames and developer Making Enemies have announced that point-and-click adventure game Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence has locked in its release date to December 11, 2025, when it arrives on PC via Steam.
The first installment of the Scholar Adventure saga follows young writer William, whose search for inspiration takes him to a distant, isolated abbey.
Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence Release Date
The abbey’s monks have taken a vow of silence and, what initially paints itself as a simple quest for inspiration soon makes way for a hefty dose of mystery, as the monastery hides “a secret that should never have been revealed.”
Developed using PowerQuest – a tool which you may recognize from this year’s excellent pulp adventure thriller The Drifter –, Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence is inspired by the classic point and dark adventure games of the 90s, promising “detailed pixel art with a narrative laced with dark humor.”
While exploring the abbey, we get to solve puzzles while figuring out how the various items we pick up get us closer to revealing its secrets.
Scholar Adventure: Mystery of Silence is described as a “focused, intense experience” that lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
The title will be priced at $7.99 or your regional equivalent, while also benefiting from a 10% launch discount. It will then make its way to other platforms in 2026.
