Update 214857 for Gunfire Games' third-person co-op shooter Remnant: From The Ashes is now live, its patch notes revealing a number of quality of life changes, bug fixes, alongside a plethora of balance changes.
On PC, Update 214857 introduces a FOV slider, enables push-to-talk by default as long as players assign a key, and caps the co-op scaling to +3 the levels of the host. Remnant: From the Ashes players across all platforms should now have an easier time filling empty matchmaking sessions, as well.

The bugfixes introduced in Remnant: From the Ashes' Update 214857 target better performance on Corsus and increased memory stability, which should result in fewer crashes. A number of collision issues were also addressed, among other things.
The bulk of the patch notes is, however, dedicated to the extensive balance changes introduced with Update 214857.
Kicking things off, Radiant Tomb sees its number of spawns and intensity reduced, in order to make it possible to beat it without a specific loadout.
The Coachgun now has a range of 900, up from the previous 800, and +4 reserve shells, while the Repulsor has its initial spread reduced by 40%.
Many other balance chances were introduced, tackling everything from guns to armor and traits, and you can check them out in the full Update 214857 patch notes.
Remnant: From the Ashes is out now on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
