Skate Season 1 Release Date - Start & End Times
Surprise! You won’t have to wait for Skate Season 1 at all.

Yes, that’s today. Season 1 is opening its gates later, allowing everyone to experience new content and acquire extra cosmetics. As for its end date, we’ve learned about it too:
- Skate Season 1 End Date: December 2, 2025
That makes the first early access season of Skate almost two months long, which is pretty normal. That said, there’s mention of Season 1 being a shorter one. We don’t know yet if S2 will kick off right after and just in time for Christmas.
Skate Season 1 Content
Skate’s first season is coming with a bunch of improvements and new playable content available free of charge. The huge official blog post has all the details, but we’re keeping things more brief here:
- San Van is getting “a little makeover” with seasonal decor coming to skateable areas across the city.
- Skate-o-Ween celebration “less focused on the spookiness and more about getting a chuckle out of someone, creating an inventive costume, and just getting together to skate in a fun outfit.” Themed parks and cosmetic rewards included. Runs from Oct. 21 to Nov. 11.
- 7-Ply Maple Harvest event focused on a maple tree that’s harvested to get wood “perfectly suited for skateboard construction.” It’ll also have themed parks and new cosmetic rewards. Runs from Nov. 18 to Dec. 2.
- Event currency that be exchanged for special event cosmetics.
- 40 new Challenges plus daily, weekly, seasonal, and event tasks. Tix are given out and can be used to get extra rewards.
- First skate.Pass, with Standard (free) and Premium tracks for the most dedicated players priced at 1000 SVB.
- In-game soundtrack update, with 21 new songs added into the rotation, focusing on a 90s vibe. The list includes Bad Religion - Against The Grain, Ice Cube - Bop Gun (One Nation), and Operation Ivy - Sound System, among others.
