Publisher HypeTrain Digital announced during the Kinda Funny Games Showcase at E3 2019 that its upcoming turn-based RPG Stoneshard now has a November release date.
Players will be able to journey across the ruthless medieval world of Aldor come November 7, when Stoneshard is set to release on PC via Steam.
Stoneshard Release Date
In Stoneshard, players take on the role of a caravan leader that must manage their followers to the best of their abilities, while staving off the different dangers that lurk across Aldor. As opposed to other RPGs, Stoneshard doesn’t automatically assign your character a class from the start, letting you develop it as you explore what remains of its war ravaged, procedurally-generated world.
Whether you choose to be an axe-wielding mage, potion-brewing ninja or something else entirely, surviving in Stoneshard will require treating physical wounds and taking care of your mental health. Not only do hordes of nasty monsters lie in wait, eager to take a bite out of you and your followers, the destruction surrounding your caravan in its travels inevitably takes its toll on your character’s psyche.
Death will constantly be present across Aldor and, should your hero fall, another one will take their place. You can find more details on Stoneshard’s Steam page and watch its gameplay trailer below.
