Microids has announced this morning that Benoît Sokal’s classic point and click adventure, Syberia Remastered, will launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on November 6th. A limited physical edition will be available in the UK.
A new “before and after” trailer has been released, showcasing the transformation of Sokal’s work. Sokal, a Belgian comic artist and video game developer, was best known as the creator of the Syberia series. He sadly passed away in 2021.
Co-developed by Virtuallyz Gaming and Microids Studio Paris, Syberia Remastered invites players to relive the unforgettable journey of Kate Walker, a New York lawyer embarking on an initiatory quest in search of Hans Voralberg.
Reimagined graphics, revamped animations, and a modernized interface enrich this timeless experience, while preserving the narrative and emotional depth at the heart of Benoît Sokal’s work.
Syberia Remastered will be available on November 6, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
The Quest 3 VR version will release on November 13, 2025, and there doesn’t appear to be any plans for a SteamVR or PSVR 2 version.
