When will Terminator: Survivors be released on the PlayStation 5? Terminator: Survivors puts players in an open-world survival scenario set within the Terminator universe, which unfolds in the aftermath of Judgment Day.
Originally slated for early access on PC in 2025 after a delay to allow the team time to “build a post-apocalyptic world that lives up to the franchise,” its second, more significant delay likely has you wondering about plans for its release on the PlayStation 5.
Will Terminator: Survivors be released on PS5?
Nacon has confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are currently being developed. The former’s release date is, however, unknown at the moment, following the game being indefinitely delayed in late 2025.
- Terminator: Survivors PlayStation 5 Release Date: TBA
“After months of internal testing, discussions with players and fans of the license, we came to the conclusion that to give you an authentic ‘Terminator’ experience with the best possible shooting and exploration gameplay, we would have to put aside the cooperative multiplayer,” the team behind the game wrote, announcing its decision to shift to a fully single-player experience.
Terminator: Survivors will also no longer release in early access, as originally planned, meaning that when we do get our hands on it, we’ll get to experience its full version.
We will have a home base to develop, with essential materials forming the foundation for building defenses, weapons, and equipment necessary to withstand the relentless assault of deadly Terminators lurking in the wilderness.
Crossplay support wasn’t mentioned between the PC and console versions, although we expect to find out more over the coming months. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before we learn when Terminator: Survivors will release on the PS5.
