Created by Rebel Wolves, a development team founded by The Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, The Blood of the Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy RPG set in medieval Europe, featuring vampires who control a fictional town.

The Blood of the Dawnwalker is set to be released on September 3, 2026, having first been revealed back in January 2025.
The Blood of the Dawnwalker Story
Set in the gothic fictional 14th-century kingdom of Vale Sangora in the Carpathian Mountains, Coen is struggling with silver poisoning and a vampiric curse. He also has 30 days to save his family. Not having a good time of it basically.
Connected to that is Brencis, an ancient and formidable vampire who has taken control of Vale Sangora and imposed a ‘blood tax’ on humanity.
The Blood of the Dawnwalker Gameplay
A dark fantasy ARPG, The Blood of the Dawnwalker sees players control Coen, a man afflicted by a vampiric curse. Coen can utilise Hex magic and vampiric abilities in combat depending on the time of day.
Coen has 30 days and nights to save his family, but how he gets there is up to the player, with actions important to the plot advancing time, so general open-world exploration is less time-sensitive.
The game features a directional blocking system for daytime combat, which allows players to block from one of four sides and build up activation charges for Hex magic and execution moves.
As a vampire at night, Coen can bite his foes to regenerate health, teleport short distances, and walk up vertical surfaces. There’s a greater focus on stealth during the night sections.

You’ll be able to play The Blood of the Dawnwalker on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.As well as a standard edition, there’s an Eclipse Edition and a Limited Collector’s Edition.
