During today’s Warhammer Skulls 2025 showcase, publisher and developer Slitherine unveiled Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’s Deeds of the Fallen DLC, which gives the turn-based strategy game brand-new story-driven content.
Pitting the Sisters of Battle against the Orks, this is the first narrative campaign introduced since Battlesector launched in 2021. Made up of twelve missions, the Deeds of the Fallen DLC also brings three new units for the Adepta Sororitas in the shape of the Imagifier, Castigator Battle Tank, and Zephyrim.

Once you’re done delivering the Emperor’s justice to the universe’s bestest green boys, you’ll want to shift your attention to the free update accompanying Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector’s Deeds of the Fallen DLC.
Aside from introducing the initial version of the new Crusade game mode, it also brings two free new units available to all players. The Sisters of Battle’s roster grows yet again with the Dominions while the Orks Boyz with Choppas significantly raise the greenskins’ chopping potential.
Battlesector’s Crusade mode sees us starting with a basic army and fighting our way through hordes of enemies. As we vanquish our foes, we “earn the opportunity to expand both their forces and firepower.”
The mode promises “a new way to level up the troops, with a new experience system based on the ferocity of the battle, with a variety of ways to upgrade entire classes of troops.”
Slitherine also plans to improve and expand the mode in the future once players have had a chance to try it out and offer feedback.
Finally, during the week-long Skulls festival, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector will be discounted by 70%, while its DLCs will also be up to 40% cheaper, making it a great time to hop right in if you haven’t already.
