Today’s Warhammer Skulls 2025 showcase was chock-full of announcements and, while the primary focus fell on newer releases, older titles like Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War weren’t left by the wayside.
Publisher Slitherine and developer Proxy Studio have unveiled the Onslaught Pack DLC as the latest content offering for 2018’s 4X strategy game, whose unit rosters are about to get slightly bigger.

Warhammer 40,000: Gladius’ Onslaught Pack DLC introduces no fewer than eight units across its races. Anyone adding it to their library can field the likes of the Drukhari Mandrake, Chaos Rubric Marine, Necron Canoptek Reanimator, and more.
Here is the complete list of units, as shared by the publisher in an emailed press release:
- Norn Emissary - Tyranids
- Squighog Boy - Orks
- Sicarian Ruststalkers - Adeptus Mechanicus
- Attilan Rough Rider - Astra Militarum
- Rubric Marine - Chaos Space Marines
- Vyper - Aeldari
- Mandrake - Drukhari
- Canoptek Reanimator - Necrons
In addition to launching Warhammer 40,000: Gladius’ Onslaught Pack DLC, the publisher participates in the Warhammer Skulls festival with franchise discounts of up to 50%.
Better yet, the base game is free to keep on Steam for the whole duration of the festival, which lasts between May 22 and May 29. If you’ve yet to try Gladius, there’s no excuse not to pick it up now.
