Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s Lex Imperialis DLC release date sees the sprawling cRPG’s Koronus Expanse growing yet again, thanks to its second major serving of post-launch content. Promising a 15-hour storyline centered on the Adeptus Arbites, it also introduces a new companion, archetype, and much more.
Rogue Trader’s Lex Imperialis DLC rounds off the game’s first season pass by exploring more of House von Valancius’ past while having us interact with different facets of the running of the Imperium. As we dive deeper into the new areas, we get to partake in or interfere with the Imperial Tithe collection while facing new daemonic foes.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Lex Imperialis Gameplay
Gameplay-wise, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s Lex Imperialis DLC adds the second-tier Overseer archetype alongside the Arbites origin as new choices for character creation.
The former is a flexible support specialist who can deploy cybernetic familiars to aid them in battle by improving their offensive abilities, disrupting enemies, or using their claws and teeth to chomp on humans, xenos, and daemons alike.
Although they cannot be directly controlled, familiars can be issued commands. While exploring, they can also pull levers, drag items, or reveal hidden objects.
Four such creatures will be available in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Lex Imperialis: the cyber-mastiff, psyber-raven, servoskull swarm, and cyber-eagle.
To unlock the Overseer, we can pick the Officer or Operative first-tier archetype, but also choose the Sanctioned Psyker, Unsanctioned Psyker, or the Arbites origin. The latter comes with four specialties.
In addition, Rogue Trader’s Lex Imperialis DLC also brings with it a new companion, Solomorne Anthar, who joins us as we explore areas new and old while facing the RPG’s growing menagerie of enemies.
