Raw Power Games is developing Chronicles: Medieval, a dynamic medieval sandbox strategy game, where you can create a character and forge your path from peasant to king of the realm. It’s planned for release in 2026 on PC via early access on Steam, but Raw Power Games has confirmed that console versions are planned.
Chronicles: Medieval was only just revealed over the weekend at the Summer Games Fest, with a trailer featuring narration from actor Tom Hardy, with music by The Witcher composer Adam Skorupa. It resembles a strategy-focused take on the Chivalry 2 or Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord formula.
What’s the plan for Chronicles: Medieval on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Raw Power Games has confirmed that console versions will follow after the early access release on PC via Steam. We can expect it to arrive on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S between 2026 and 2027, once the early access period has served its purpose.
“Earn your name in skirmishes, field battles, and sieges where every fight is a step towards more power.” reads a description on the Steam store page. “Shape your destiny in a living, breathing realm where every decision echoes through history and every sword swing could change your fate.” Will you rise to rule the land, or remain a peasant wishing for a good harvest?
We do know that Chronicles: Medieval will feature single-player, co-op, and online multiplayer modes upon its launch in 2026. You can count on modding support for the PC, too.
Wishlist it on Steam and keep checking back to see if we’ve learned anything more about the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release.
