When can fans finally get their hands on Poppy Playtime - Chapter 5? Quite soon, it seems.
Poppy Playtime became a breakout horror hit back in 2021, continuing the popular trend of mascot horror birthed by the Five Nights at Freddy’s series.
So far, we’ve had four chapters in the last five years, but a fifth was already confirmed to be in the works; there just wasn’t a Poppy Playtime - Chapter 5 release date yet.
Well, now we have it, and Poppy Playtime fans won’t have to wait all that long for more mascot mayhem.
Poppy Playtime - Chapter 5 Release Date Confirmed
Developer Mob Entertainment has confirmed that the Poppy Playtime - Chapter 5 release date will be February 18, 2026, on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Previous entries have come to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms as well, so expect Poppy Playtime - Chapter 5 to show up in those circles later in 2026.
Poppy Playtime began with just one chapter, a free-to-play game that establishes the story and characters. Players must survive a seemingly abandoned toy factory by using the stretchy-armed power of the GrabPack to get items from a distance or hack electrical circuits safely.
All the while, there are sinister threats to contend with, as the remaining toys in this factory are up and walking about, and it’s safe to say they don’t tend to be friendly.
In Poppy Playtime - Chapter 5, players will descend deeper into the bowels of the factory and find themselves in the lair of the puppetmaster. As they fight through the horrifying monstrosities in the darkness of the puppetmaster’s realm, players will uncover even darker secrets about the Playtime company’s past and contend with the disturbing Prototype.
