Ahead of January 22’s Developer Direct showcase, several Xbox Game Studios titles are participating in a Steam sale that discounts some of 2025’s best games and other awesome releases from developers under Team Green’s umbrella.
Although titles like Avowed and The Outer Worlds 2 aren’t part of the latest Xbox Games Studio Steam sale, plenty others are having their prices slashed, including Ninja Gaiden 4 and South of Midnight.
Xbox Game Studios January Steam Sale Discounts Some of 2025’s Best Games
Ninja Gaiden 4 returns to deliver perhaps the series flashiest take on its trademark hack and slash ninja action. Weapon transformations, as well as more familiar techniques, make up a varied toolkit we can use to dispatch foes.
South of Midnight offers a different kind of experience, promising a more traditional action-adventure game that stands out thanks to its thoughtful, imaginative representation of the mythos of the Deep South.
Although slightly older, Forza Motorsport draws us to the driver’s seat with its 500 cars that we can race on 30 world-famous tracks.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps’ stunning visuals, heartfelt story, and smartly designed world helped cement the series as a must-play metroidvania.
Other titles are also discounted in Xbox Games Studios’ January 2026 Steam sale, and you’ll find some highlights listed below:
- Ninja Gaiden 4 - €48,99/$48,99/£41.99 (30% discount)
- South of Midnight - €29,99/$29,99/£26.24 (25% discount)
- Forza Motorsport - €34,99/$34,99/£29.99 (50% discount)

If you’re looking for even more discounts, a few Remedy Classics and Deep Rock Galactic are also available at lower prices on Steam for a while.
