Publisher and developer Grinding Gear Games has announced that Path of Exile’s 3.29 update has locked in its release date to late July, a bit over four months following the launch of its predecessor.
PoE’s 3.29 update and its accompanying league will be officially revealed during a livestream slated to air on July 16 at 1 PM PDT/9 PM BST, when the developer will offer a deep dive into its changes and fresh mechanics.
Path of Exile’s 3.29 Update Releases in Late July
Path of Exile’s 3.29 update release date will then occur a bit over a week later, on July 24, 2026. According to the developer, it “has been set in stone for quite some time.”
Sadly, the developer didn’t share any details about what we can expect from PoE’s 3.29 update and its accompanying league, although teaser season should kick off fairly soon.
The announcement confirms that Grinding Gear Games remains on track to support both its live service action-RPGs with a steady cadence of content.
Late last month, Path of Exile 2 received its biggest update yet, significantly revamping its endgame mechanics.
To tide us over until Path of Exile’s 3.29 update releases, “a special event” is in the works, with details set to follow soon.
It will be interesting to see where Grinding Gear Games will go following the conclusion of the Mirage league, which is slated for July 20.
