The biggest Planet Coaster 2 DLC yet is all about customisable floats and crowded events. Planet Coaster 2: Parades Pack is out now.
It’s been over 19 months since Planet Coaster 2 landed with a splash (and some notable frustrations), and despite Frontier Developments’ recent focus on Jurassic World Evolution 3, the massive dinosaur-less park management sim continues to grow through free content updates and paid DLC drops. Now, the latest one, the Parades Pack, is expanding its creative possibilities in surprising ways.
“For the first time in the Planet Coaster series, Park Managers can take control of their very own parades, featuring fully customisable floats that follow a route and schedule they control. The Parades Pack introduces over 250 float scenery pieces that players can add to blueprints or use to build floats from scratch.”
These are all-new opportunities to keep guests and crowded areas in the parks satisfied, with ride-on entertainers taking the show to the next level. Moreover, it’s an entirely new layer of custom content for the more creative players with over 250 scenery pieces based on the Small Town Americana aesthetic. Here’s the full list of content and features included in the DLC:
- Introduce whimsy and nostalgia to parks with fully customisable parades featuring ride-on entertainers to delight and dazzle guests.
- The HPC Buzzard hair-raising SINGLE-RAIL COASTER brings tight turns and inversions in a compact form factor.
- Drop and dive into excitement with the V&N NARROW DROP, a new compact Drop coaster.
- Take a casual ride through a park with the FD VISION ELECTRIC TROLLEY, perfect for scenic guest transport.
- Spin and drop with the JUMPIN’ DISC and LITTLE DIPPER, two brand new flat rides offering park attendees a spinning ride that bounces in all directions and a mini drop tower for kids.
- Light up the night with 19 new Firework Emitters.
- Curate the ultimate vibe with six new themed music tracks.
- Set the mood with 10 new ambient sounds for speakers including: A Busy Bakery, Barbershop, Cosy Room, Classic Car Engine, and more.
Unsurprisingly, Frontier is also using this opportunity to introduce new base-level features at no extra cost through Update 10. “Vista and event points” allow guests to admire scenery at chosen locations and trigger events, and transport rides can now be placed on paths, with NPCs walking around incoming traffic. New objects for guests like flags and wands will add to the charm and colour of your parks too.
Planet Coaster 2: Parades Pack is available now on PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S for a suggested retail price of £14.99 / $18.99 / €18.99.
