Here’s our up-to-date list with every animal species included in Planet Zoo 2. The new park management sim from Frontier Developments arrives later this year, and we’re going to be learning about most (if not all) animals coming in the sequel in the coming weeks and months.
As usual, Frontier is offering bonus animal species with pre-orders and paid DLC packs. After launch, we’re expecting a solid cadence of new arrivals too. This is based on what the first game and the studio’s other management sims, such as Jurassic World Evolution 3, have received over time.
Fully aquatic and flying species are being added in the sequel, but that doesn’t mean favourites like the Lion or Western Chimpanzee are being left behind. Frontier is promising a wider and deeper management sim sequel that brings all types of animals together in breathtaking detail. This is what we know about the massive roster of species for now, but stay tuned for updates.
