Siliconera has new information on the exclusive content for the PC version of Resident Evil 5 that releases on 15th September. Along with support for NVIDIA's 3D features are new clothes for both Sheva and Chris Redfield. As seen in the picture, Chris Redfield has a Mad Max style studded leather costume, while Sheva gets a business outfit.
Speaking at Comic-Con, Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi revealed that both he and co-producer, Masachika Kawata won't be heading the sixth game in the series, although it hasn't been determined who will be leading it yet. "it doesn't appear as though either of us is going to be in charge," before saying that he and Kawata were "playing blackjack to decide who is going to be stuck with the responsibility".
This September 18th Capcom's Resident Evil 5 will be available for PC gamers, and so now is the time to release the demands this game has of your rig. Yes a Resident Evil 6 is under way but Jun Takeuchi who produced RE5 won't be having a hand in it, which is something he had said before. Takeuchi-san is busy elsewhere in the Capcom kingdom, and firstly Japanese devs have a lot "we must do" to change for the better he says.
Publihser Capcom aren't satisfied with just 2 major launches a year, they won't 3 or 4 to help beat the decline in sales. More zombies for all. Franchises like Resident Evil will be getting more studio attention, even outside Japan as Capcom will be looking to US and EU developers.
Upcoming PlayStation Move support for Resident Evil 5 will only be included for the Gold Edition, reveals Sony, citing "technical reasons." A free update is available to Resident Evil 5 Gold owners, but will be included on disc to all new copies made after PlayStation Move launches.
Resident Evil 5 gets the update for PlayStation Move this September 19th but only for owners of the Gold Edition, as otherwise there's nothing. That's due to technical issues apparently. For regions who didn't get the Gold Edition, Capcom say a special Move Edition will retail for you.

Capcom Japan has announced that a sequel to CGI film Resident Evil: Degeneration is currently in production, and will be called Resident Evil: Damnation. The film should be released in Japan in 2012 and will feature 3D too. Leon S. Kennedy will be the main character again, much like Degeneration. That's all we know at the moment, but hopefully we'll have more soon.
SOCOM developer Slant Six Games is allegedly full steam ahead on a new Resident Evil game subtitled Racoon City, and appears to be team-based. At least that's what a leaked document suggests. Slant Six reveal they've got a "world class franchise" they're working on, while Capcom says 'no comment'.
