Leaked off-screen footage of a supposed teaser for Resident Evil 6 at a behind closed doors screening is not genuine, claim "multiple contacts at Capcom." The clip was allegedly shown at Capcom's Tokyo Game Show theatre, which was set up to run all trailers for upcoming titles. However it's all just an elaborate fake.

Some core Resident Evil fans are less than pleased with the more action-oriented first person shooter spinoff Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City, but series producer Masachika Kawata warns that the franchise needs a change of pace to keep the IP from stagnating, and that if the Capcom series remains solely a survival horror game, fans will "tire" of it.
Capcom has announced that it plans to release a Resident Evil HD Selection for PlayStation 3 in Japan. Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and Darkside Chonicles, both released on the Wii, will be bundled together and revamped in HD with Move support. There's no word on pricing or a date at the moment. Capcom has explained why the predicted 2.5 million sales for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has been adjusted to just 2 million, and it's 'not because they're unsure of it.' The reason it got revised is because the "release date has moved" from winter 2011 and it's now launching "closer to the end" of the fiscal year, leaving less time for sales.
Capcom has sent out a brief notice to press outlets that Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City will be delayed until the 23rd March, 2012. The game had an original release window of Winter 2011.
Capcom's upcoming squad shooter Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City has been passed "with no cuts made" by the UK ratings body BBFC. We can expect some "strong bloody violence". Capcom has announced a new multiplayer mode for their upcoming third person shooter Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, and it will basically be a straight up "good guys vs. bad guys" scenario called the Heroes Mode.
The 'No Hope Left' poster campaign has struck London and it's been confirmed by ad agency Primesight that Capcom is behind it. Speculation is explosive of an announcement tonight.
