A Steam logo has popped up on Final Fantasy XIII's portal site, leading to speculation that the fantasy RPG will be making its way to PC. In fact, it's looking very likely that it will. Even the main Square Enix page has the game listed with a PC release.

While we were wondering if Final Fantasy XIII would ever make the jump to Steam, those sneaky folks over at Square Enix have added Final Fantasy IV to Valve's retail service. This release is based on the seven year old Nintendo DS version, which added new 3D graphics and a bunch of fancy new cutscene. Because if there's one thing Square likes, it's cutscenes.
After having kind of blown the secret already through their official website, Square Enix has today confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII will be coming to PC this October via Steam and their own online store. In fact the entire Final Fantasy XIII trilogy will be coming to desktops eventually, with the original game from 2010 first, followed by 2012's XIII-2 and finally 2014's Lightning Returns.
