Retail chains, Amazon and Gamefly have revealed product pages for Silent Hill Origins on the PS2, which would confirm recent rumours about the title appearing on this platform as well as the PSP which it has only currently been announced for. Website Siliconera noticed that both of the retail chains had box art posted up which also declared a release date, Amazon listing it for a 4th March 2008 date and GameFly pushing it back a bit to 31st March 2008.

Kotaku reports they got a look-in at Konami's new upcoming Silent Hill: Homecoming which will now be releasing on the Xbox360, PS3 and on PC too. Fans of Silent Hill may feel a touch of nostalgia as the creepy looking 'Pyramid Head' erm, guy - makes an appearance as the main character searches for his lost little brother.

CVG reports that Silent Hill: Homecoming will no longer be released in Europe during 2008, instead it will be available next year in February. Localisation has been labelled as the blame for this delay, although it has been out in America since late last month. While some think that the delay may have been made due to the average reviews that have been appearing from the US press, and Konami might be taking this chance to update the European version with improvements.
