The XCOM 2 War of the Chosen World Premiere Trailer was just shown at the PC Gaming Show live from E3 in Los Angeles. “The fight against ADVENT continues when additional resistance factions form in order to eliminate the alien threat on Earth. In response, a new enemy, known as the “Chosen,” emerges with one goal: recapture the Commander. Requires XCOM 2 to play”. The Chosen will have the ability to learn new skills and abilities. One class in the Chosen that we saw is the Assassin. The Assassin is bound by the values of duty and honour and in combat she is a mix of stealth and close combat. For example, she can vanish and then re-appear to take out enemies. Each of the classes in the Chosen will have powerful and, more importantly, unique fighting styles. Other classes will include the Hunter (a long-range sniper) and the Warlock class.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown and its expansion Enemy Within were great reboots to the series for Firaxis and 2K Games. However, for those who can't get enough there are mods and among the modding community for XCOM, Long War is arguably the best. Even Firaxis and 2K seem to know this. Against all biological enemies, there was certainly another group of enemies built to strike terror into your troops and break your careful strategies: the dastardly Sectopod. Many things have changed and evolved in XCOM 2 and the Sectopods are no exception. Get a peak at what you're dealing with in the latest of mechanical ADVENT abominations.
