Star Wars: Galactic Racer has set the entry bar low. The minimum GPU is an RTX 2060 — a mid-range card from 2019 — which is modest for a game that looks the way this one does, and the storage ask is a fairly restrained 50GB.
What's more interesting is what sits on top of that floor. The game uses hardware-accelerated ray-traced Lumen lighting, and launches with DLSS 4.5 support including the second-generation Transformer model for upscaling and Dynamic Frame Generation, with Ray Reconstruction available to enhance the lighting further.
So there are really two games here as far as hardware goes: a comfortably scalable racer for older machines, and a considerably more demanding showcase for anyone with the silicon to turn everything on. An RTX 2060 will get you racing, but not with ray-traced Lumen doing much of anything.
