Keeping your wits about you is the best weapon to survive the hostile jungle of The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, but when that fails, having something in your hand to skewer or shoot the unspeakable horrors the game throws at you.
Thankfully, there are some handy weapons given to you for your expeditions, and the jungle itself can provide, should you know where to look.
Given the game takes place in the 16th century, the weapons are somewhat limited and largely melee-focused, but there’s some firepower too.
The weapons at your disposal come in different grades that start from Aged for melee weapons and guns, the latter of which also comes in decayed form that is rusted and prone to misfires. Aged and Decayed means they have reduced damage and range in the case of guns.
You’ll need to reach a certain level to unlock some weapons.
Melee weapons can be upgraded at the anvil on the galleon.
Below are all the confirmed weapons we’ve seen in The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu to date. Should we find more, or if an update adds any, we’ll update the list accordingly.
