Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Summary
CI Games announces that development on Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is well underway, set for release in 2016
has announced that it is "deep in the development of" Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, the next entry in the popular (if a bit shonky) shooting-people-in-the-clavicle simulator.
It's early days yet; the game's set for release in the first half of 2016 for PC and current-gen consoles. The "all-star development team" working on it includes Steve Hart, formerly of fellow sniping game Sniper Elite V2.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was originally scheduled to include full dismemberment of limbs. City Interactive was eventually forced to remove the feature so the game wasn't banned in Germany, before suggesting free DLC would reinstate the design in territories that allow it.
CI Games has announced Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is ready to go.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is once again being delayed. Originally due to be released in August 2012, it was pushed back to October 2012 then to January 2013.
What the heck does City Interactive's Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 look like powered by Crytek's Cry Engine 3? Well, the studio has released some gameplay footage to get your long-range rifle cocked.
If you read into that anymore than what the words literally mean - you've got issues. There's knife murderin', cheesy quips, infrared reapin' and melon splittin'. People die a lot, basically.
