Developer Kan "Reives" Gao has released a second free 'minisode' for adventure game To The Moon, comprising another twenty minutes or so of story.

The second episode follows on from a free DLC released last year, though Gao says the new content is “a tad more. . . important, plot-wise.”

The latest package over on Humble Bundle has arrived with Humble Indie Bundle X. It's got quite a selection with adventure RPG To the Moon, stunt man Joe Danger 2, dark fantasy Papo & Yo and Runner2.

Pay more than the average and then there's also action arcade HOARD, space combat in Strike Suit Zero, colourful puzzles in Toki Tori 2+ and the fatally hilarious Surgeon Simulator 2013.

To The Moon creator announces A Bird Story

Indie developer Freebird Games has announced a spiritual successor to their critically acclaimed To The Moon RPG. They've called it A Bird Story, and it features a small boy and bird with a broken wing.

Its only link with To The Moon is that the boy grows up to be the patient Dr. Watts and Dr. Rosalene treat, otherwise it's completely separate. It's not designed around "expectations", says Kan Gao.

Indie adventure To the Moon retailing July 6th

Lace Mamba Global has announced they will bring indie adventure To the Moon out in shops as of July 6th in the UK and Ireland first, and then a month later in Europe.

It's all about technology that can weave new memories for patients on their death beds to 'fulfil their greatest dreams' before they pass. We play as John, who wants to go to the moon.
