A Top Trumps videogame is already in the pipeline for the time-travelling Doctor but developers Tom Heaton and Pete Hickman have teasingly hinted that perhaps something bigger could be in-store for the cult British sci-fi.
While the universe of the Doctor is certainly filled with peril and a near endless supply of far-out plots, ultimately the series is about solving problems and not blasting a weapon every other minute. Has the Time Lord got what it takes for a video game audience?
Asked about such a possibility Heaton and Hickman replied, ”We are HUGE Doctor Who fans, so that would be something that we’d really like to see too. All I’m allowed to say is… watch this space.” I guess we’ll just have to stay tuned and see.
