The Go!Messenger service will finally be ready to download on Friday (today!), bringing VoIP and IM to first-gen PSP owners who missed out on the recent Skype release for the PSP slimline.
According to Register Hardware Go!Messenger will work with all PSPs but it’s limited to communication with other Go!Messenger users so basically you can’t actually call any mobile networks or landlines.
If you want to make a video call, you’ll need the Go!Cam add-on which costs about £45 (€65/$90). However, Go!Messenger is a free application and calls made to other Go!Messenger users are also completely free of charge.
As stated above Go!Messenger can be downloaded from today, Friday as you’re drinking your morning coffee and reading your paper.
