Age of Empires Online is set to launch sometime in the Autumn, Microsoft has confirmed.
Speaking to Strategy Informer earlier today, Microsoft's Danan Davis mentioned how they weren't ready to talk about a release date yet, but that it would "definitely be coming in the Fall". For anyone who's interested, keep an eye out at the end of the month for the official announcement.
The game's price points will also be revealed at this time: At the moment, extras for AoEo - which are currently divided between civilisation packs, content packs and "vanity items", are set to cost between $5 and $20, but no specifics have been given.
Despite being primarily a digital distribution title, Age of Empires Online will launch with a 'Retail Starter Kit' at the same time, which will offer premium content and bonuses in a boxed product.
Age of Empires Online is currently being developed by Gas Powered Games, who from Robot Entertainment earlier in the year. Stay tuned for our in-depth preview.
