Black Friday was very good to Microsoft, as the publisher stated the company moved 750K Xbox 360’s in the US. The total sales were for the week of the 18th November through 23rd November.
In comparison, Nintendo’s new console, the Wii U, sold 400K in the same time period.
Microsoft also stated that Halo 4 sales ”exceeded expectations.”
Even more important to the publisher, Xbox Live Gold subscription card sales skyrocketed by over 50% compared to last year. Over 14M people were on Xbox Live concurrently on Sunday alone, with 72M hours of use in the 24 hours.
