The team at United Front Games is in the festive spirit as a tweeted pic includes a small Christmas tree adorning a designer’s desk, but what’s also in the shot is Sleeping Dogs: Triad Wars.
Triad Wars was confirmed to exist as a sequel in the Sleeping Dogs universe back in October, with a promise it would be made public in 2014. Square Enix is the returning publisher.
”A li’l bit of Christmas on designer Matt’s desk :)” tweeted the official United Front Games account. They added the picture included a blurred shot of Triad Wars.
The game was originally called True Crime: Hong Kong, but Activision decided to cancel the project for not being of ‘sufficient quality’. Square Enix got involved and helped United Front salvage their work under the new name of Sleeping Dogs, which went on to become a surprise hit.
