Bitsquid has announced that its proprietary game engine is now available for development in PlayStation 4 games. The engine has been used in such games as The War of the Roses, Stone Giant and Krater.
The studio claims its engine is far more economical that other engines in that it features a lean code base that is ten times smaller than other comparable engines and the ability to have fast workflows and sub second iteration on multiple devices simultaneously.
The PlayStation 4's full specs are expected to be unveiled at E3 in June 2013.
