For those rabid Call of Duty hordes out there wanting to know the intricate details of Ghosts’ multiplayer, executive producer Mark Rubin has tweeted he’s ”looking forward to MP in August.”
What’s in August? That would be Gamescom in Germany which runs August 21-25. Activision must be feeling the heat from Battlefield 4’s online shenanigans to talk multiplayer early.
Usually multiplayer details don’t start spilling until September for Call of Duty, but an extra week or so to build up momentum couldn’t hurt.
”We are in our death march push to finish game. Lots left to do. Looking forward to MP in august,” tweeted Rubin. When asked when in August, Rubin replied: ”middle.” Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC November 5th with Xbox One and PS4 versions later at launch.
