Human Element, the debut title from Robotoki, will hit PCs in November 2015 according to a Tweet from studio founder Robert Bowling. Bowling confirmed the date on Twitter, and revealed that release dates for console versions are still yet to be finalised. He also revealed that the title has been developed on Crytek's CryEngine. Bowling, who started Robotoki in 2012 after leaving Infinity Ward, explained his reasons for choosing the CryEngine. "The ambitious narrative and gameplay of Human Element required an innovative set of features in order to achieve our vision. CryEngine is the perfect fit for us because it delivers so many powerful features straight out of the box such as the physical based shading system and the infinite terrain from segmented worlds to create a massive open world experience but still allow the visual fidelity and detail our players expect from a first person experience from our team." We don't know too much about Human Element yet, apart from that it will focus on survivors of a zombie apocalypse tasked with rebuilding society. More news and info as it surfaces. |
