Warner Bros have gotten slightly less vague in their estimation of when the troubled PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight will be available again. Last month it was ”in the coming weeks”, but a new post promises that the game will be ready by the end of October.
”As many of you know,” WB writes, ”we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase.”
When it’s back up on Steam, WB will also put out all the bits and pieces of DLC that have been released for the consoles versions in the intervening period. Which are mostly short and rubbish, so don’t worry about them too much.
On the plus side, the last patch for Arkham Knight actually appeared to do some good, so hopefully Rocksteady and WB have built on that progress and we’ll have a functional game when it’s ready to re-release.
