German PC gaming site PCGames.de claims that Bethesda will show off a 20-30 minute demo of Fallout 4 to the gaming press at E3 2015, rather than demonstrating gameplay footage of the highly anticipated RPG publicly.
If these anonymous sources are correct, it seem likely that the public will at least see some kind of teaser for the game, possibly (probably) in the form of a pre-rendered cinematic trailer. Bethesda won’t miss the chance to get a big roar from the E3 crowd.
Fallout 4 has been rumoured, and indeed hoaxed, since way back in 2013, and fans have been keeping their fingers crossed for every single big press event in the last few years. So maybe don’t get too excited just yet. On the other hand, if we’re being optimistic, Bethesda hasn’t had a big new title out for a while now, and the timing – it’s been five years since Fallout: New Vegas – would seem to be about right.
Once again though, this is all just rumour, and Bethesda is unlikely to comment with E3 2015 drawing ever nearer to its June 16 kick-off. It’s the company’s first ever E3 conference though! Surely something big has got to go down.
