Konami has posted a warning message across all versions of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, notifying players of a potential game-breaking bug later on in the game.
The issue can occur in either Mission 29 or 42, and is potentially caused by bringing sniper buddy Quiet along with you. Konami suggests that players avoid using her in those specific missions, until they can sort out a fix. Here’s the statement:
”In METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN, which was released on September 1, 2015, there is a possibility that the game stops progress if having Quiet as a buddy while playing “Mission 29” or “Mission 42”. This situation can be avoided by not using Quiet as a buddy while playing either “Mission 29” or “Mission 42”.”
