Ed Boone, creative director of fatality simulator series Mortal Kombat, has revealed that the recent launch of Mortal Kombat X was the ‘biggest in the series history’, and helped ”FAR exceed” the team’s expectations.
He promises they’re ”working (like mad) on all the issues” people have been having. The PC launch has been troubled with Steam’s new download system.

We love that so many players want to play MKX and are working (like mad) on all the issues some of you are experiencing! We WILL fix them!

Mortal Kombat X released on PC, Xbox One and PS4 this week. There’s been no official sales quoted yet, but maybe Warner Bros. IE will spill their numerical guts if it’s done that well.
