Indie developer developer Cyril Megem has released a new 17 minute gameplay video for Warshift, showing off not only the new T-Raptor unit, but also some of the unique gameplay in the action-RTS hybrid.
The YouTube video is annotated by Megem, who states, ”This WARSHIFT let’s play video shows some tips and hints: how to win skirmish match without a lot of units and buildings, but using an interesting tactics, strategy and stratagem: changing position of the ARK for better logistics.” He then noted, ”Because military logistics playing (sic) one of the main roles in this game. This quick gameplay mostly focused on the use of new combat avatar T-Raptor, bombardment via heavy battleship Dreadnought and aircraft usage.”
Megem also released a smaller, two minute video showing off the T-Raptor itself. He calls it ”T-Raptor is the most universal heavy assault drone that has the most diverse set of abilities and weapons” which can also transform itself into a helicopter and a submarine for both airborne and underwater combat. (It sounds like the developer was a huge fan of the Dinobots.)
The game debuted at Gamescom and in August became a Steam Early Access game. Megem is also looking for fan feedback on the game’s official website as well.
