Ubisoft has delayed Rainbow Six: Siege into December, in order to makes some adjustments and improvements. The closed Beta will still kick off this September 24 as planned.
“We felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation,” said the studio. “We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”
That extra time – the game was initially planned for an October launch - will allow Ubisoft to spend more time responding to feedback and developments that crop up in the Beta. It’s probably a smart choice, and given the sheer number of big titles out in September, might give the game some welcome breathing room.
Rainbow Six: Siege will now be released on December 1.
